Virgin San Francisco Chooses ProHost® System From Hostar International

Located in the heart of San Francisco, in SoMa, the Virgin San Francisco partnered with Hostar in January 2019. Hostar International is proud to be part of the team which helps the guests of the Virgin San Francisco enjoy everything the hotel and city have to offer! This is the second Virgin hotel the Hostar team has had the honor of working on.

The Virgin San Francisco is located in SoMa, on 4th Street, across from the Yerba Buena Public Square. A boutique hotel, The Virgin San Francisco sports 194 rooms, a rooftop bar, the Commons Club restaurant, and a ground-floor restaurant named the Funny Library.

The ProHost® housekeeping system from Hostar was chosen by Virgin San Francisco to maintain the luxury and boutique feel. The ProHost® boutique hotel solution streamlines the distribution of linen, terry, amenities, and supplies. The boutique solution allows Virgin San Francisco to manage high occupancy and fast-turn challenges while maintaining task focus and accountability. Each room attendant is provided with a 20S Boutique Cart which is placed inside the guest room during cleaning. Backup linen and terry are held in the housekeeping service closet in a 56R Reserve Cart.
