Hostar International announced the successful implementation of its ProHost® Boutique Solution at Rosewood Amsterdam, a landmark luxury property located in the city’s UNESCO-listed canal district within the historic former Palace of Justice. 

Rosewood Amsterdam brings 134 rooms and suites to one of the city’s most significant heritage settings. The property is designed by Studio Piet Boon and features thoughtfully restored architectural elements, including reimagined courtrooms and cellblocks, as well as an extensive art collection and high-end guest amenities. 

As a monumental building on the canals, Rosewood Amsterdam faces operational realities common to protected historic properties, including constrained back-of-house space and circulation limitations, while still needing to deliver a calm, uncluttered guest experience. The ProHost® Boutique Solution was selected to support those requirements by enabling a cartless appearance and improving housekeeping inventory flow.

Rosewood Amsterdam improves guest experiences with the ProHost® Boutique System, which keeps trolleys, waste, and cleaning supplies out of sight. The Boutique Carts are designed to fit neatly in guest rooms, offering ample storage while reducing the need for frequent replenishment of linen, terry, amenities, and room supplies. This allows room attendants to focus more on delivering excellent service and helps speed up room turnover.

The ProHost® System also centralizes the management of guest room supplies, such as linens and towels, helping to ensure optimal inventory levels on each floor. A dedicated team refills the trolleys daily, allowing room attendants to focus on guest service rather than managing supplies. The Boutique Carts discreetly carry everything needed for cleaning, while 56R Reserve Carts are placed in service areas for quick resupply, reducing trips and improving efficiency.

This system streamlines operations, boosts room turnover speed, and enhances the guest experience at Rosewood Amsterdam.
